Grandma's 80th Birthday

I am from a large family (the oldest of 7 children).  My mother is also from a large family (the oldest of 10 children).  As you can imagine, I have a lot of cousins.  This is only a small group of the grandchildren who were able to celebrate Grandma's 80th birthday with her.

When Mark and I met I had been planning on moving out of the apartment and at that time, buying a condo or a townhome.  After Mark and I started to get serious I decided to change my plans and buy a house.  Unfortunately, having a lot of student loans limits the amount of house you can buy.....

Fortunately, Mark and I are handy and resourceful (OK maybe mainly Mark).....

So I told Mark that my family likes to go to the Renaissance Festival.  Mark thought that the Renaissance Festival was fun.  Then I mentioned that we liked to dress in period attire......you will notice Mark is not in this photo.

My sister Carissa lives in DC, and I try to get out there every couple of years or so to visit.  I had a wonderful trip with my Parents......
